Mamba is part of the collection of decanters snake by Maximilian Riedel in 2011 Made of more than lead crystal and hand-blown in Bavaria, Germany. Winner of the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athaeneum Museum of Architecture and Design. The Mamba decanter is part of the collection of snake-shaped decanter designed by Maximilian Riedel. Sensual curves of lead crystal decanters for this eye-catching shape and dedicated to lovers of full-bodied wines. Mamba enables the "double decanting" and allows aeration of the wine when it is flowing in the coils of entry in the output. The snake coiled Mamba and creates air pockets that "charge" the wine. The wine along the way produces a gurgling sound - a sound reminder of the decanting accomplished by the power of wine passing through the vacuum created in the base of the decanter. Mamba set the record as a decanter for wine "faster" on the market, able to aerate the wine 18.5 times faster than any other. Mamba allowed Maximilian to win the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athaeneum Museum of Architecture and Design. Beautifully packaged in signature black and red box Riedel, comes with an instructional DVD narrated by Maximilian Riedel, which explains the technical instructions for casting and cleaning. INFO We recommend using carbonated water at low cost to clean the decanter. NOTE: Due to the handcrafted, small tolerances on the size and weight of each decanter, bubbles, imperfections and variations of the surface, are a feature of the product.
