Mamba Dx LED

The hanging shelf/desk by MDF Italia. In the Mamba project, form, function and material merge masterfully to create an object pleasant to the touch and to the eye that seems to materialise from the wall and vanish in it, an object that stems from the designer's reflections on the material, its intrinsic and extrinsic qualities and its workmanship. Starting from the idea of a continuous ribbon that draws an organic figure on the wall, the result is a new type of furnishing accessory halfway between a shelf, a desk and a table with an LED light source. The LED is turned on and adjusted by touching the sensitive Touch switch. The wall-mounted shelf/desk is made of matt white Cristalplant®: a composite material consisting of natural mineral fillers, acrylics and polyester polymers.
