MAgriTTA is an original collection of poufs designed by Sebastián Matta for the Gufram brand. Seat in soft polyurethane upholstered with bouclé wool. Available in three finishes, green, red, and yellow.The famous Chilean architect wanted to pay homage to one of the most important exponents of Surrealism, René Magritte, and his most evocative work. MAgriTTA is a sculpture armchair whose forms reflect the green apple and the black hat, recurring elements in Magritte's works. Matta skilfully assembles them using durable, contemporary materials such as polyurethane foam and bouclé wool. In addition to the classic version with a green coating, Gufram now presents two new finishes, MAgriTTA Rouge and MAgriTTA Jaune. Matta manages to translate the illusion of Magritte's works into a design object: the hat acts as a structure while the apple becomes a comfortable, soft seat.
