Madre Table Lamp

Madre is a beautiful table lamp designed by the designer Andrea Anastasio and produced by the Foscarini brand. Made of blown glass with an acid etched mouth, borosilicate glass, polycarbonate and painted metal. The shape refers to the hipswide of the goddesses mothers, the divinities that protected the fertility of the earth. But also to the vase as a container of life, because it was created to accommodate food before the flowers.Madre is a poetic and dense object of associations. Every suggestion linked to light, as a generating element of life is explored: myths, statuettes, day / night alternation. The large luminous body of Madre welcomes in the upper hollow a vase in satin borosilicate glass, where it is possible to lodge branches to create a whole sober and elegant.
