Lunar is an original suspension lamp created by the Finnish designer Johanna Hartikainen and manufactured by the famous and elegant Woud brand. Lunar is a lamp made of painted metal and opal glass. The Lunar suspension lamp embraces modern architectural design and pays homage to ancient astronomical observations. The three halos surrounding the opal glass sphere illustrate the ascending and descending moon cycle, creating the impression of a wonderful full moon. By observing the design from different angles, the moon phases change creating harmonious shadows.
