Lunar Console

The Lunar console table by the brand Fiam is designed by the designer Matteo Nunziati. The product features a 12 mm glass top that is fire-cast, tempered and back-painted with metallic colours, while the base is made of painted metal. Thespecial feature of the top is the rhomboid pattern, all elegantly supported by slender metal legs. The inspiration comes from the typical shape of the LEM, the lunarmodule and the Apollo missions, characterised by the slender metal structures that support the space capsule; this is why the name Lunar was chosen. In addition to a purely engineering aesthetic reference, an important formal reference was certainly the anthropomorphic design of Carlo Mollino, an unmistakable sign characterised by sensual and sinuous lines. Available in two different top finishes: Champagne and Grigio Lava.
