"In the case of the embossed prints, the ink drawings are engraved into a plate. Each plate takes several months to complete. When ready, the plate is placed on the print bed, the damp paper is placed on top, then both are passed through a press to form this unique relief print. The print is then dried between layers of absorbent board for several days. Emboss is print in its most pure and poetic state, an object of tactile contemplation.
