LILY ™ 3108 is a beautiful and sinuous chair without armrests, designed by Arne Jacobsen for the Fritz Hansen brand. The shell is made of pressure-molded veneer with eight layers of internal veneer and two external veneers, on the front and on the back of the shell. The internal veneer is in beech and the external veneer is in walnut. The base is made of chromed steel pipes.Each anniversary chair will have a special tag mounted under the chair. The Lily ™ chair was originally designed for the Danish National Bank. The first model was 3108 of 1968 and the chair was introduced to the market with the 3208 model at the Danish Furniture Fair in 1970. The chair is made of laminated veneer and is the result of an extremely complicated molding process that ensures perfect curves and best comfort. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lily ™, the latest chair that Arne Jacobsen ever designed, the Fritz Hansen brand is relaunching the original version with walnut veneer. Also available in the version with LILY ™ 3208 armrests.
