Libra Shelf 60

Libra shelf 60 by Martinelli/Venezia for Colè is a wall shelf in solid natural oak with a black painted metal bracket. A minimalist shape with a strong aesthetic, Libra plays with the concept of balance, displacing the observer. The metal support envelops the convex base of the wood, deforming and creating a material illusion: at first sight, it resembles a leather band. The image that inspired the project is, in fact, the traditional leather book belt used by our grandparents, before the advent of folders.
