Let It Be Modular Sofa

Let It Be is a modular sofa designed by Ludovica e Roberto Palomba for Poltrona Frau. Base made of aluminium die. Frame made of solid poplar wood and birch plywood. Padding of backrest and armrest in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, of the seat cushion in goose down feathers. Upholstery of the base in Pelle Frau® and of the cushion matching with base in leather or Fabric Cat. B. Removable only for the parts upholstered in fabric. The leather and fabric versions have a tone on tone stitching. The saddle version has a contrast stitching. Feet made of moulded aluminium with a ruthenium stitching and plastic black caps, available in two different heights. Let It Be has a light and functional design, thanks to the accessories, to the combination of symmetrical/asymmetrical elements and to the wide choise of seats composition. To characterize this project is the informal and unconventional design toghether the upholstery of the base and the accessories, that giving it a comfortable and sophisticated aesthethic. The feet contribute to give lightness to the whole project while the wide cushions suggest a relaxation idea. Let It Be, an attribute for the Beatles band, evoques a contemporary style that rielaborates the functionality and the spiriti of the antique triclinium. The pure design in enriched by the visible stitching and by the craftsmanship of the leather that characterizes of the entire Poltrona Frau's collection. The two or three seater sofas include a back cushion 65x65 cm for each backseat with its headrest support.Headrest support is available in the same finish of the leather base.Cushions 65x65 cm are available in the same finish of the sofa upholstery.
