Lake Blue Rug

Designed by Raw Edges for Golran, Lake is a rug made in wool and bamboo silk. Winner of the Wallpaper Design Award 2015 for Best Optical Illusion. The collection is a new interpretation of the persian rug and is inspired by the lenticular artist Yaacov Agam.These rugs are colourful and capable of moving from the vivid colours of daytime to the less bright shades of the evening thanks to an op-art lenticular technique transferred to rug making by Golran and their craftsmen in Nepal. The collection has been selected for major awards, incuding the Elle Deco International Design Awards 2015, The Architizer A+A Awards 2015, and the Dulux Let's colour Award 201. It has been nominated for the Best British Patterns section of the Elle Decoration British Awards 2014.
