The stone steps of Hong Kong's Ladder Street, the winding alleys full of antique curiosity shops, this is the poetic image that inspired Studio Yabu Pushelberg for the design of this enchanting library. Ladder Street rests on a solid stone base in Carrara marble or Belgian blue limestone, while the shelves are made of solid oak, hand-cut by craftsmen in the Netherlands, available in five finishes.
