La Main Ouverte Rug by Cassina was created following the lines of a 1948 drawing by Le Corbusier and presented at the Salone del Mobile 2023.La Main Ouverte Rug depicts one of Le Corbusier's most cherished symbols, an open hand precisely, which was often the focus of the graphic works he was most fond of. The hand had a very specific meaning for the architect which followed a universal visual language, indicating the offering given and received, a metaphor for generosity and sharing.
