The Kink vase is designed by Earnest Studio's talent exclusively for the Muuto brand. Kink is made of pigmented porcelain; not glazed on the outside, but glazed on the inside. Earnest Studio was founded by the American designer born in Rotterdam, Rachel Griffin. With a background in graphic design, he spent five years producing exhibitions and books before moving to the Netherlands to study at the Eindhoven Design Academy in 2007. He launched his studio in 2012, with a focus on furniture, lighting and accessories. Kink shows a new and contemporary form to the archetypal flower vase, through a combination of traditional craftsmanship and a playful design language. With its double opening, the Kink vase adds a sculptural feeling to the room, even when not in use. The design is made of glazed porcelain inside for a refined touch. Cleaning instructions: Hand wash only with water or soapy water. The exterior of the Kink pot is rough and must not be cleaned with any object or cloth that could scratch its surface. Use only a washing cloth. Do not use brushes of any kind. Note that intense cleaning can damage the finish of the vase over time. Never use chlorine bleach products that will damage the jar.
