Inspired by the photographic tripod on which the designer Daniel Rybakken used to hang his coats, Kiila Coat Stand by Artek has a low centre of gravity and can bear considerable weight without toppling over. Like all pieces in the line, its construction has been made transparent: the wedge-shaped metal joint has been left deliberately visible, a powder-polished contrast to the solid ash legs.
