Kata lounge chair is an Arper seat signed by the team designers Altherr Désile Park. Structure in oak or Robinia wood. The design of the Kata collection is delicate and light and winks at sustainability. The FSC-certified solid wood chair indissolubly combines innovation technology and aims at a new dimension of furniture: The upholstery is made with post-consumer polyester yarns transformed into light and durable fibers, minimizing material waste. In addition, Kata is created using a strong and durable polyester fiber made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles and as the recycling process transforms the fiber at the molecular level, there is no difference between recycled polyester and virgin polyester - it looks and feels behaves like wool, but with excellent elasticity and resistance to stains, water, light and atmospheric agents.
