Japanese Abstractions is a carpet designed by Sophie Taeuber Arp and produced by the Brand Maison Dada. Japanese Abstractions is a collection of rugs designed around the concept of the imaginary journey to Japan by the Dadaist and feminist artist Sophie Taeuber Arp. Each carpet is a combination of geometric shapes and traditional Japanese motifs, the result of the encounter between West and East.
