Interlace Rug by the brand Illulian, is a creation designed by Iranian architect Zaha Hadid. The brand is internationally recognised for its luxurious textiles and prestigious collaborations with world-famous designers.Interlace Rug focuses all its appeal on the line element. Each individual line curves gently, flanking the others through which dynamic and striking patterns are created. The contrasting colours against the dark background let us imagine the luminous trails of the stars, moving to the coordinated rhythm of a pyrotechnic game. The result is an illusionistic composition whose pattern becomes swirling as the eye moves towards the centre. It is typical of Zaha Hadid to play with the viewer's gaze, through disjointed, jerky lines. Equally important to the designer is the luxury of the highest quality, respected here with excellent workmanship and fine fibres such as wool and silk.Hand-knotted rug by Nepalese craftsmen made with 152,000 knots/sqm. 50% Himalayan wool 50% silk.
