In Between Chair SK2 - Upholstered Seat

Between, di And Tradition, is a chair designed by the Finnish designer Sami Kallio: modern design that looks to the past. Surface: Solid wood and formpressed veneer with upholstered seat. At first glance, the chair looks like a chair iconic Danish in 1950, but at second glance, you realize that the chair is made from a blend of traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques. Made from ash and oak, In Between is an exercise in wood craft that uses two traditional techniques to get his form: compression molding and turning. Besides involving modern industrial production processes, there are also some hand-made interventions that refer to the background of the designer.
