Impronta is a collection of ceramic accessories presented by Cassina at the Salone del Mobile 2023 that tells the story of Italian design by drawing inspiration from the original 1966 sketches by Ico and Luisa Parisi, kept at the Pinacoteca Civica in Como.Impronta is a series of decorative objects for the home, made of glazed and hand-decorated ceramic, which depict details of the human body by turning them into ornamental modules with a pop feel. Thus the outline of a hand becomes a pocket emptier and its negative a vase for a single flower. The original sketches were also used to design a vase whose front is dominated by a large open red mouth, faithfully reproduced by Cassina on a scale enlarged by 30%. Celebrating the art of Italian ceramics, Impronta emphasises the typical stylistic features of 1960s style and stands out for its remarkable visual and chromatic impact.A collection of ornamental objects in two-tone, hand-decorated glazed ceramic. Composing the series are: Mano Vase; Mano Empty pocket; Bocca Vase.
