Ihana x3 Ceiling Lamp

Ihana x3 is a lamp designed by Joanna Laajisto and produced by the brand Marset. Available in several models.Ihana means 'exquisite' in Finnish, and Ihana's serene forms indeed trace an exquisite silhouette of light. Composed of three opaline blown glass diffusers that contrast with the firmness of the metal structure that determines its shape and fixes it to the ceiling, Ihana offers a choice of sizes, allowing this lamp to be used to create compositions of light in any environment and at any height, be it a living room, an office, a meeting room or a hospitality environment. The possibility of extending the structure to include up to 14 diffusers, connected to a single point of light, allows it to be used continuously in large rooms with little availability of electrical connections.The lamp was born from a precise need of its creator, architect Joanna Laajisto, which arose from the relocation of her studio to a 19th century building in Helsinki. Finding no suitable lamps for the new environment, she therefore created a sculptural lamp defined by pure forms in a delicate balance between elegance and rigidity.
