Gropius Chair CS1

Gropius Chair is part of a collection by Noom that pays homage to the great architects of the Bauhaus, to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Designer Kateryna Sokolova chose Walter Gropius as her inspiration: a German architect, urban planner and academic who was one of the founders of the great school of art and design.Gropius Chair plays with geometric volumes, turning a seat into a work of art. The circular shape dominates in the cylinders of the structure and in the seat. Entirely covered in fine fabric, it lends itself particularly well to plays of light and shadow that lend character to the entire room. The Bauhaus philosophy promotes the union of functional, aesthetic and craftsmanship components in every piece of furniture, so also Kateryna Sokolova, reinterpreting this thought, makes Gropius Sedia a concentrate of these stylistic elements, all to be experienced and enjoyed.Handcrafted chair, fully upholstered in Karakorum bouclé fabric of wool and viscose.
