GB Lounge Chair

GB is an upholstered seating collection designed by Gijs Bakker and produced by the Karakter brand. The series includes the Lounge Chair and the pouf. Both models can be joined together through connectors to create multiple seating systems. Structure made of powder-coated steel. A wide range of fabrics is available. It was 1972 when the Dutch designer wanted to experiment with the design of a new seating model, using a single block of foam rubber, folded at 90 degrees and encased in a metal frame. The result was the birth of a still famous and beloved piece of furniture that has evolved over the years to meet the demands of contemporary design. Today, the functionality of the Lounge Chair and Pouf GB has been further improved with the addition of feet that raise them slightly off the floor for greater comfort. Available as a single chair or with the addition of a pouf, GB Lounge can be arranged in various ways thanks to simple connectors that transform it from a single chair into versatile and dynamic modular compositions.
