Galta Forte Side Table is part of a collection with incisive but essential lines from the Kann brand, a series of furniture created by the SCMP Design Office design duo, which have in common their experimentation with new forms integrated into harmonic complexes. Galta Forte Side Table stands out from the other elements in the collection while remaining true to the style of the Galta collection. Starting from a single pedestal with the characteristic teardrop shape, a must for this furniture series, the designers wanted to dynamise the composition through the geometric contrast between the circular shaped base and the square top. Solid oak wood, chosen for its strength and aesthetic quality, warms the sharp lines of this minimalist design.
