The round back recalls one of the distinctive rats of the Fontainebleau collection, and the perforated surface reproduces the effect of wicker furniture with its transparency. The flared detail of the armrest accentuates this reference to the traditional, creating an element of momentum and enhancing its contemporary reinterpretation.
