Flar is a table lamp designed by the designer Patrick Norguet and produced by the famous and elegant Italian brand Lodes. The Flar collection lends itself to different uses, for example on a console or next to a sofa. When combined, the two dimensions offer the possibility to play with proportions, thus creating unique compositions in the lounge areas of hotels or in retail outlets.The name Flar evokes the image of a sparkle or "flamboiement", which in French indicates an intense glow or burst of light. Extremely simple, albeit highly decorative, Flar is a floor and table lamp that does not go unnoticed. Inspired by traditional windproof lanterns equipped with glass tubes to protect the flame, Flar features a rounded glass lampshade designed to enclose a filament LED bulb that amplifies the light source and diffuses a very soft light, filtered by the glass, whose effect is reminiscent of a contemporary candle. Flar consists of a steel base that unfolds like a flower and houses a blown glass lampshade. The contrast between the precision of the 3D laser cutting of the base and the uniqueness of the blown glass bubble enhances the personality of Flar. Flar is available in two sizes: Large measuring 62.5cm high and Medium 47cm. The 3D laser-cut steel base is available in Terra and Champagne finishes, while the blown glass diffuser is available in two colors, Honey and Turquoise.
