Fg Vaso di Pulpo is a bold 2017 creation by Dutch design duo Steven Visser and Vera Meijwaard, masters of quoting familiar shapes from our everyday life, reworking their function in a decorative key. Fg A vase in either version, it resembles an unfamiliar, futuristic object, but with roots firmly planted in the design of familiar objects. It defies any definition because it is deliberately different from the canons of the classic flower vase category. The designers started with silhouettes such as cans, fire hydrants and gun drums, without excluding inspirations from antiquity such as ancient reliquaries and the style of 18th century cabinets. Available in two versions (F1 with lid, F2 without), their originality makes them perfectly suited to contemporary and urban contexts, giving a touch of dynamism to minimal environments with their sculptural presence.Vase in matt glazed ceramic, available in two versions: F1 with lid measuring cm Ø 19.5 × 50 H; F2 measuring cm Ø 14 × 40 H. The assortment includes 4 colours for each of the versions. Streaks and other variations in size and colour are part of the production process.
