Fat Dining Chair

Fat is a seating collection designed and produced by Tom Dixon. The series includes a dining chair and a stool. The frame is available with wooden legs in natural and black finishes or in black lacquered metal. Upholstery is in Hallingdal fabric. Suitable for both residential and contract settings, FAT is perfect for offices, dining rooms and hybrid work spaces.Fat's silhouette has been lightened in response to customer feedback, with a 2 kg weight reduction compared to the previous model and a cost reduction. Thick upholstery and curved backrests ensure high comfort. Tested in the Coal Office and Manzoni restaurants in Milan, the collection launched in 2019 stands out for its comfort and versatility.The FAT Steel model features a modular construction for ease of maintenance, with removable legs, backrest and seat cover. Hand-finished in Europe, it offers bespoke fabric options, and the steel legs come from an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified factory, ensuring quality and sustainability.The FAT Wood model uses FSC-certified wood, with a brushed black ash or natural oak finish, for an elegant and sustainable aesthetic.
