Esosoft Armchair

Esosoft is the first project designed by Antonio Citterio for Cassina. A seating system that embodies the Italian designer's distinctive elegance and timeless style, while at the same time paying homage to the art of the great masters. The armchair enriches the collection and delivers moments of total relaxation.The Esosoft armchair features an aluminium frame that supports a shell with an organic silhouette, on which soft cushions are placed. The armrests are wrapped in hand-sewn leather sleeves with visible stitching. Its soft shapes combine past and future times, recalling the informal sense of comfort typical of the 1960s and using state-of-the-art production techniques. Due to the work of Cassina LAB, Esosoft is a circular and sustainable system: the materials used for its production are designed to be disassembled and recycled at the end of their life cycle. The Esosoft collection consists of an armchair, bed and modular sofa.
