EM Table Vitra, is a table designed by Jean Prouvé in 1950 which is characterized by its functional design and a unique aesthetic approach and still topical. Base in steel sheet preformed, coated with smooth dust, wooden top thickness of 34 mm. In the early 50 Prouvè devised EM Table for the "Maison-Tropique". Attention to detail and strongly characterized by its construction, the table was made according to the concept of the aesthetics of necessity. It shows the distribution of static forces and relations in a manner found only in civil engineering.
