The Aluminium Chair by Vitra is one of the most extraordinary pieces of furniture design of the twentieth century: lightweight design and usability. Charles and Ray Eames designed it originally in 1958 for the private residence of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA). For the design of this chair designer duo has abandoned the principle of the seat shell, tending instead a panel of fabric or leather between two aluminum side to create a sitting tight but elastic. The chair adapts to the body of the person and is very comfortable, even in the absence of padding complex. INFO Model EA103 fixed with armrests Chrome base Fabric Hopsak
