DS-57 Armchair

Designed by Franz Romero for de Sede, DS-57 armchair is characterised by an enveloping and futuristic shape. Available with an adjustable head rest built in, it is covered in DS-Living leather, lightly pigmented with lightly embossed grain pattern. The frame is in wood or metal and the padding in Bultex foam combination wrapped in Fiberfil. DS-57 design is inspired by 1930s racing cars, with the typical steep rake of the seat achieved by using a wedge-shaped base - in impact-resistant high gloss lacquer, varnished solid oak or aluminium. de Sede has a long tradition of leather working rooted in Klingnau, Switzerland. The years of experience and diligence of their craftsmen enabled them to create hand-crafted leather furniture of singular quality.
