DS-1025 is a sofa collection designed by Ubald Klug for the brand de Sede. DS-1025 is proposed in two modular versions for endless combinations. Available in a wide range of leathers from the de Sede catalogue.First introduced in the mid-1970s, the Swiss designer's sofa awakened the most enthusiastic critics, as well as the most ruthless; some loved it for its innovative and stunning design, while others labelled it a monstrosity. Today, the DS-1025 sofa is an iconic piece of furniture of the Pop Art generation, brought back to popularity by the Swiss company.Ubald Klug's sofa is also called Terrazza Sofa: it consists of seven layered leather cushions placed on a rectangular base, each layer recalls the natural conformation of certain terraced parts of country or mountain slopes, called terraces. Different widths and depths create a unique seating experience, a single block on the "left" and "right" is enough to create a 2-seater sofa, but the addition of a third element forms an abstract composition with no set rules. The DS-1025 is a luxurious piece of furniture that will lend a stylish look to a home's living room.Upholstery and structure: SEDEX upholstery with wadding cushion.
