Detour Coffee Table

Detour is an elegant coffee table designed by GamFratesi for Wiener GTV Design. Bent beech-wood frame and woven cane inserts. Open pore-painted shelves in ash veneer. Brass feet. 'A diversions', is the literal meaning of the word Detour, a term that the design duo metaphorically wanted to use to express a clear change of course, the same as the design of this refined coffee table. Detour is characterized by its legs that create an interplay of lines to achieve a more incisive profile. Two Vienna straw side panels alternate with the empty spaces between the two wooden tops to give lightness to the entire structure. Finally, the feet with brass ends add further luxury and prestige to the coffee table.
