Deco 707.10 Opalino Glossy is a vase designed by Napoleone Martinuzzi and produced by the Venini brand. A classic of the company in a new Paraiba shade.Deco is a vase characterized by a dynamic succession of rings that repeat, one after the other, like circles in water. The vase turns out to be the result of the creative flair of master glassmaker Napoleone Martinuzzi, artistic director of the Venini house from 1925 to 1931. Made of Murano glass, the workmanship of the Dèco vase is obtained from lattimo, an opaque white glass invented in Murano around the middle of the 15th century for the purpose of imitating the early porcelain that was all the rage in Europe, overlaying "encamiciando" the lattimo glass with a transparent and colored thin glass or glasses, resulting in splendid objects with intense and bright colors.
