Crate Low Table is an outdoor furniture piece from the namesake collection, manufactured by Hay, inspired by the project of 1934 by the Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld. The Crate Collection has been relaunched thanks to a collaboration between Rietveld Originals and Hay, that has re-evaluated the quality of its projects.Crate Low Table, like the other pieces from the collection, has been designed for an eco-sustainable production, based on the use of the waste materials derived from the manufacturing of wooden crates. This results in assembly cost reduction. Its small sizes make it perfectly suitable for any space. The simplicity of the design of the table reflects the architectural style of the designer, providing functionality and comfort without taking up space. The practical square top, made of parallel slats, contrasts with the diagonals of the stringers of the frame, visually creating movement and strengthening the composition at the same time.Low square outdoor table made of solid pine wood, available in five water-based lacquer colours.
