Couple Coffee Table - 3 Tiles by Muuto is the result of the contamination between Scandinavian design and Mediterranean traditions: the Belgian designer Sylvain Willenz has indeed been inspired by tables made with tiles and has reinterpreted them in a minimal and contemporary way.Couple Coffee Table - 3 Tiles results from a research on the creation of traditional tables by the Belgian designer, who has eventually been inspired by the texture of earthenware, which finds a perfect balance with the organic nature of wood, becoming an example of the perfect aesthetic combination of the two materials. The oak wood of which Couple is made of is sustainably sourced (C028824 FSC™️ certificate), the shelves in stoneware simulate the texture of the rock, but with neutral pastel colours. The shelf is composed of three elements placed one next to the other, that can be combined together to create a more dynamic and decorative effect. The ceramic with a finish that is raw to the touch is a clear reference to the durability of the material, that has also been coated with a layer of stain-resistant sealant.Rectangular coffee table with top composed of 3 stoneware tiles treated with a stain-proof sealant for stoneware.
