Couple Coffee Table - 2 Tiles by Muuto is the result of the contamination between Scandinavian design and Mediterranean traditions: the Belgian designer Sylvain Willenz has indeed been inspired by tables made with tiles and has reinterpreted them in a minimal and contemporary way.Couple Coffee Table - 2 Tiles is a perfect example of the aesthetic combination of two materials in the same design: sustainably sourced oak wood (C028824 FSC™️ certification) and shelves in stoneware that simulate the texture of the rock but with neutral pastel colours. The wooden structure allows for the veins of the oak to evoke the organic materials which have given life to the idea of the Belgian designer Sylvain Willenz. The top is made up of 2 elements (smooth or wavy) placed one next to the other, that can be combined together to create a more dynamic and decorative effect. The ceramic with a finish that is raw to the touch is a clear reference to the durability of the material, that has also been coated with a layer of stain-resistant sealant.Rectangular coffee table with top composed of 2 stoneware tiles treated with a stain-proof sealant for stoneware.
