Corker is a collection of stools/side tables designed by Herzog & de Meuron for the ClassiCon brand. Made entirely of dark cork with impregnation, each model is milled from a single block. Available in three sizes.The Swiss duo of architects drew inspiration from the silhouette of a wine bottle cork, an object of everyday use and absolute simplicity exaggeratedly enlarged and transformed into a furnishing element that recalls the whimsical current of pop art.Corker takes on the functionality that everyone wants to give it: a low stool, a side table to be placed next to a sofa, a bedside table next to a bed or a footstool; a limitless versatility that adapts to any living environment.Corker is sustainably and flexibly produced: the cork used comes from local and sustainable forests in Portugal, Corker is durable and one hundred percent recyclable.
