Copernico is the new suspension lamp, extension of range of the serious Copernico realized by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paolo dell'Elce for Artemide. Copernico is obtained from one sheet of anodized aluminum laser cutted; when is closed it is completely flat. The controlled volume and weight reduce notably energy's employment during the phase of transport and storage. The junction with contacts in copper (patent pending) it allows the passage of the supply among the concentric ellipses that compose the structure, and it trains the independent rotation of 360°. The mobility of the elements and the rising LEDs in low tension allow the user to program the light in the space holding and physically moving the object modulating the issue according to the demands.
