Chester Line is a sofa designed by Renzo Frau for Poltrona Frau. Seasoned beech wood frame; hand-tied steel springs fastened to jute belts; backrest and armrests padding in hand-shaped vegetable horsehair and rubberized horsehair seat. Seat cushion in polyurethane foam and goose down. Poltrona Frau's icon par excellence is now in a new contemporary and functional version. Chester Line maintains its special features like the capitonné worked backseat and armrests and the great craftsmanship of the materials. The classic sofa is deconstructed and multiplied, becoming a real system of modular sofas with chaise longue and armchair, both without armrests, pouf and two corner sofas. The collection is now completed with two curved sofas, with and without armrests, to expand the number of possible combinations: as well as being used in tandem with the linear solutions, they can be used on their own to create sinuous winding effects.
