Cheba Bookcase by Medulum was designed by the design duo Accardi Buccheri, inspired by the shape of an ancient object of Arabic origin.Cheba is the word for cage in Arabic, traditionally the cage for transporting birds, an object that suggests the atmosphere of merchants' journeys from the East. This simple word from other contexts inspires the line of the Cheba Bookcase structure. The shelf and, optionally, the container, enclosed by these crossed vertical elements, furnish with irony without remaining unnoticed.Bookcase with curved round metal frame, with bolted crosspieces. Shelves and container in matt scratch-resistant lacquered wood. The bottom of the shelves is milled to accommodate the crosspiece structure. Curved metal bottom. Available in various colours. Available with or without container.
