Chaconia is a chair designed by designer Nanna Ditzel in 1962 for the Fredericia brand. It is made of Oregon pine wood and upholstered in Hallingdal 200 fabric. The Chaconia chair, an iconic piece of Scandinavian design, is characterised by its organic forms and extraordinary attention to detail. Although it was presented at the Cabinetmaker's Guild exhibition in Copenhagen in the same year, it had never been put into production. The chair is distinguished by its light and sinuous structure, which adds a sense of grace and lightness to the environment in which it is placed. The flowing, harmonious lines blend harmoniously with the ergonomically designed curvature of the seat and backrest, offering optimal comfort even during long sittings.Limited edition of only 100 pieces with numbered plate and after sold out no more will be produced
