Castilian (Las Alturas) is a refined rug belonging to the Aura Patina collection, designed by Calle Henzel and produced by the Henzel Studio brand. It is made of wool, mohair, and silk, hand-knotted, Persian weave. For the realization of this precious rug, centuries-old weaving techniques have been used that make each piece unique in its kind. Calle Henzel, the founder of the homonym company, combined his activity as a designer with that of an artist and painter. The rugs in the Aura Patina collection are works of art that emerge from the canvas to find a new shape between the knots of the wool and silk with which they are made. The pastel colors of pink and light blue, which form the patterns of Castilian (Las Alturas), emanate a relaxing and calm light, able to fill the environment naturally.
