The base of the handcrafted lamp is made of high quality brass. The untreated brass surface tends to change over time, giving it a special character. A patina is created, a surface created by natural aging. The patina is the result of daily use and is perceived as an aesthetic gain, as it represents a characteristic material property that can ultimately be understood as the user's individual signature.
