Brutus Dining Chair

Brutus Dining Chair was designed in 2021 by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl for the Scandinavian brand 101 Copenhagen, together with an entire collection inspired by an architectural movement of the mid-20th century. Brutus Dining Chair owes its name to the Brutalist style, a current that favours, as an aesthetic canon, powerful volumes and the living surface of exposed concrete. Brutus, and the entire collection of related furnishings, are made precisely of cement fibre, a compact and light material with great strength. Each seat is hand-painted with the intention of creating a surface that is irregular and organic to the eye, allowing the light to highlight its particular spatulate texture. The severe appearance, moderated by hinted curves, does not compromise its enjoyment, ensuring maximum seating comfort. Hand-painted fibre cement dining chair. Available in 3 colours. Weight: 16 kg.
