Bertoia Diamond is a chair created by Harry Bertoia for Knoll. Seat and base are constructed of welded steel rods. Its base finish is made of 18 karat gold plating, whilst its frame of clear lacquer. In honor of the designer's 100th birthday, Knoll introduced the classic lounge chair finished in 18k gold. Bertoia Diamond is a chair designed in the '50s, but still very contemporary. Unmistakable stylish and luxurious for a chair apparently lightly. The designers Bertoia created a chair sublime with an industrial material for those times, elevating it beyond its normal utility into a work of art.
