Belt L 3000 Dimmable 1-10V Suspension Lamp

Belt is a collection of lamps designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec and produced by the prestigious Flos brand. Belt is pure flexibility, a sinuous line whose nature is in balance between the softness of the leather and the rigidity of aluminum. Line of technical light wrapped inside a fine tailored leather cover to integrate each element of the composition. The innovative connection system has been developed to obtain a sinuous line with no apparent solution of continuity. Each element of the product is managed through strips of leather. Some of these support the weight of the appliance, others carry electricity and obviously some contain light. The initial section of each composition descends from the ceiling, or rises from the wall to then be suspended through dedicated tie rods. Leather represents the heart of the project. A soft and warm material that guarantees freedom in space but at the same time characterized by a certain rigidity that creates harmony in the result of the final composition. Belt is covered in fine leather treated with natural dyes to obtain the three finishes available in the range: black, natural leather and green. The installation of the tie rods used to suspend the lighting profile is done by sliding the leather bands through dedicated metal buckles that act as ceiling hooks. Each tie rod can be adjusted to respect the conformation of the environment. The special microconnector integrated in the terminal of the light profile allows to make the electrical connection through a simple click. The connecting element is hidden inside the leather loop, which acts as a suspension to support the composition. The choice of parts that make up the lamp are the same color.
