Belleville is an armchair by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra. Base in molded polyamide, shell made or as the base or in curved plywood with natural lacquer protective finish. Belleville is an armchair that inspires lightness, the frame for the armchair appears to travel in a continuous line, curving forwards from the angled back legs up into the arms. The French designers have designed thinking the idea behind the Belleville chair was to create a flexible product, from private to contract through the outdoor version for only plastic shell.
