The Bell Side Table, designed by Sebastian Herkner for ClassiCon, showcases a handcrafted glass base available in a variety of colors, complemented by a solid copper frame with a clear varnish and a circular crystal glass top in the original Special Edition. This table challenges conventional design norms by utilizing glass, a typically delicate and light material, as the foundation for a seemingly levitating metal top. Crafted using traditional hand-blowing techniques within a wooden mould, the tinted glass base not only has a sculptural presence in any space but also forms a compelling contrast with the robust brass frame, achieving an elegant, bell-like silhouette. The table's reflective surfaces and the interplay of different materials give any interior a unique flair, celebrating both the aesthetics of the materials and the art of craftsmanship. Sebastian Herkner, a rising talent in design, has been honored with multiple awards, including the German Design Award 2011 in the Newcomer category. The Bell Table, winner of the Red Dot Design Award, marks the first collaboration between Herkner and ClassiCon.In this version: Crystal glass black tabletop, Solid copper metal top frame and quartz grey hand-blown glass base.
